My dowsing training is mostly about the land and the proven negative stress lines that influence EVERYTHING on the land and how to remove them, scientifically proven. 

  However, you will learn how to use rods and a pendulum.  Your own body!        It will show you things. 

You may not ever have seen the simplicity of how DOWSING is as much of life as living.

My Spirituality with the land is innate.  I am very blessed yet ‘cursed’, if you will allow me,  as I have had to expand my visions about our MOTHER EARTH so as not to fall victim to incredible grief as to what humans chasing $$$$ has done. 

 I am a gentle warrior.

Thanks for your interest!

I have been in New Mexico working and preparing for Spring, 2019 workshops.

My process is that first we set a time for me to come to your home for $100, which is applied to any services you decide you may want.  I am there at least an hour interviewing you, testing the property for 20 feet on the South and West side of the home, while you watch.  I then show you what a full EARTH ACUPUNCTURE installation looks like.  We go back in the home and discuss all options and either then or later the same day I send my assessment and estimates for various options via email to you for you to contemplate.

I gather my research primarily on the health of the residents and their pets.  However, if you look on my website at TESTIMONIALS or click on the EARTH ACUPUNCTURE SECTION you will get a lot more perspective on this work, and all the benefits.

I also recommend that you look for EARTH ACUPUNCTURE discussions on my BLOG, which you can open right there on the website as well.  And if you open the BLOG for SLIM SPURLING’S LIGHT-LIFE TOOLS, you will read about products I sell associated with my work.

BACK IN GUNNISON: After No TV, No Internet, at COTTONWOOD HOT SPRINGS…

My very talented Earth Acupuncture Apprentices and I found, separately, my first Ley Line in Colorado in 28 years.  Very unsuspecting, retested the following day and research to evolve and report on.

In the meantime, as these 2 apprentices and I tested and flagged and hammered copper L-rods, also known as staples, into the ground at Cottonwood Hot Springs?  Guests thanked us.  Some asked what we were dowsing for?  Yet, all sensed our loyalty to the waters and land there.

Thank you was said to me so many times I can not tell you.

And as it shall be.  The owner has poured her heart and soul into this land and especially the water there.  The labor it took her and others to build the pools with rocks and seats to sit on, stretch out on while still in the warmth of this Sacred Springs.

Yes, it all was fine?  Those of you who I encountered while soaking?

Bad mouth the place and ye’ shall never soak again!

Bring your screaming kids and let them jump and dive?  Move over to Mt. Princeton.

Just cuz it is your birthday?  You do not sneak in with wine.

All the Love, all the work it takes to keep this Sacred source of HOT WATER needs everyone of us to pitch in!

Like take a shower before soaking as these waters run into the river and on to other rivers.

We are BLESSED by these waters, to drink and to soak, to detox and release our words and thoughts and life challenges into the water, moving, downstream.

SACRED JOURNEY IN THE SOUTHWEST

September 10-16, 20186 Days, 5 Nights

Led by Karen Rice King, Shamanic Teacher
with Featured Guest Presenter Vivian Dullien, Ph.D., Biology

Join us on a memorable 6-day, 5-night trip from Boulder through New Mexico, stopping at hot springs and sacred sites along the way. You will receive 4 sessions during the trip with Karen Rice King and 4 sessions with Vivian Dullien, Ph.D., who has won awards as a scientist and a nature photographer. Throughout the journey, Vivian will be drawing upon her years of study in biology, archeology, and geology, as well as her many years as a business mentor. Karen will be leading sessions in Shamanic Journeys and the healing ways of the Indigenous early Americans.  She is drawing upon her experience as a Global Shamanic Teacher, Certified Healing Arts Practitioner and Psychotherapist. The following schedule is approximate and subject to change.

Monday, Sept. 10: Leave Boulder by 9:00 am. Arrive Buena Vista, have BYO picnic lunch at Cottonwood Lake and sessions. Check-In 4:00 pm Cottonwood Hot Springs. Dinner at 6:30 pm at a Mexican restaurant. Socializing and hot springs soaking back at the Inn. Star gazing is encouraged.

Tuesday, Sept. 11: Soaking and breakfast then depart 9:00 am for about a 6-hour drive to the Abiquiu Inn, Abiquiu, NM. Rest in the afternoon and dinner at 7:00 pm, with discussions led by both presenters about next day’s sessions.

Wednesday, Sept. 12: Breakfast at Inn at 8:00 am. Drive to White Place for sessions. Natural history talk, hiking, photography, writing, and sessions in Shamanic Journey and Indigenous ways in Nature.  Lunch and break at the Abiquiu Inn. Leave at 2:30 pm for half-hour drive to Ghost Ranch for more sessions lasting until 5:30 pm. If you desire private time instead of sessions at Ghost Ranch to go horse back riding or tour the museums,  you may take it. Leave at 5:30 pm to Abiquiu Inn, rest and 7:00 pm dinner together to discuss the day.

 

Thursday, Sept. 13: Breakfast at Abiquiu Inn. Check out of motel and leave for Chama, NM, at 9:00 am for a 2 1⁄2 hour drive. Check in at the Branding Iron Motel on Main Street where we all will stay. Optional Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad trip or you may stay in town for sightseeing. We will all have dinner together at 7:00 pm.

Friday, Sept. 14: Breakfast and check out of motel. Drive through San Luis Valley to where we either stay that night at Joyful Journey Hot Springs or at Cottonwood Hot Springs. Sessions will continue in either location. Lunch and dinner accordingly.

Saturday, Sept. 15: Breakfast and closing sessions in the morning. Our van returns to Boulder

with lunch along the way.

Disclaimer: Due to weather and abilities of the group, we may move some activities indoors.

COST: $1,000 includes van transportation from our meeting place in Boulder throughout the 6- day, 5-night trip, and all 4 sessions with Karen and 4 sessions with Vivian. If you drive your own vehicle during the trip, the cost is $900 per person. This payment is due by April 1. If we cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, your payment will be refunded.

You will be responsible for round-trip transportation costs from your home to our departure place in Boulder, as well as your meals and accommodations during the trip. We will provide bottled water, drinks and snacks.  We advise you buy an inexpensive travel insurance policy from AAA or similar vendor as we will not be liable and will have a waver to sign.

We will reserve blocks of rooms for our group, and we have negotiated discounts in some of the venues. We ask that you confirm your room as soon as possible, so we will all be together in the same facility. If you are traveling single, we will do our best to help you find a roommate, but we cannot guarantee this.

CONTENT: You will learn how to dowse the property for geopathic and Hartmann stress lines, and then install copper rods in order to reduce stressful energy fields. Clients who have had their homes dowsed and cured by Karen say that their space feels “lighter and cleaner.” They report they sleep better and experience more harmony and wellness of spirit, health, and finances. If you successfully dowse during both days of this workshop, you may be considered for Karen’s Dowsing Apprenticeship Program, where she pays you for your work on other properties.

That turn in the creek, the wild plums in blossom, the blue heron in flight.
Spectacular.
I did the ritual you told us about – the statement written on a paper, pillow, and water-drinking.
I love a good magic ritual – who doesn’t?

__________________   What a lovely time we had as the sun went down behind the Flatirons.  Vivian was teaching us how the Foothills on the front range of Colorado were formed millions of years ago and the evidence of who actually lived in the area.  New scientific findings now with all the technological advances with DNA is showing us that the world as we believed it to be historical is now being proven to be a very different story than what we knew before.

We hung out in the first homestead in the area and say how they planted crab apple trees and somehow wild plums circled the area.  It was fun imaging what the plan was and how these ‘ancestors’ lived there.

We will doing more events now as we explore land in Boulder County as the Founder’s Circle of the GOLDEN GAIA NATURE SANCTUARY continues to grow its Legacy Project for Boulder County.  Please contact me if you are interest in anything hear!  Karen

I just had dinner with Sandy Swegel to talk about my newsletters and her involvement in the paid Apprenticeship program.
Deborah Keys will admit it.  She took the training 3 times over years.  Now she is HOT FOR IT!  Ask her yourselves and she will tell you why it makes sense to put it together with her work already!
Sandy S. who has her own gardening business and is very tech savvy compared to me, is getting Hot for it also.
I am feeling it!  It is becoming the time I have seen before!  And I need qualified, well-trained folks to help me.
I am giving Cedric a head start cuz he earned it!  There is so much I want to be there with everyone before I leave this planet so I may coach apprentices into their own styles with THIS FAB WORK!
I see the 3 of us traveling more together and combining the OILS.  Or maybe we just have to get our calendars together.  !!!
The 2 different properties C. & I just did are having MAJOR SHIFTS.  Apprentices need to know about this!

IT   is a Full moon for ALL….  In CANCER.
FOR NOW?  Working at POSTNET?  I learned that most of the mines in COLORADO have been closed, using their words.  What LANGUAGE?  Also, the literally FRACKING installations are drying up on the front range, abandoned.  NO credibility.
With the floods of 2011 & 2013?  I am dowsing the GOLD has merged with the ANIMAS River.  If you know anyone in the STREAM/  put on your boots and go “
PANNING”  give me a call, especially if you dowse!  Since the floods of 2011 and 2013?  There is GOLD in Boulder Creek.  There  is SILVER in a vein that cuts through our life stream.
