Yes, this is a tremendous array of challenges and I understand that you are facing a lot here. The entire family unit! With a new born in the hospital and everything here.
I’ve gone over all my figures and I cannot make any changes to the pricing I have given you as it is the absolute lowest I could go. And as a ‘soul’ ( if you will allow me) proprietor I promised my accountant that I would never extend over 2 payments. I made special arrangements in your circumstances and intend to keep that agreement.
I know that you want to have this done and I am hopeful that it will work out for all concerned. However this Saturday will not work for myself or my team. I have a previous commitment to meet with clients in the mountains from Thursday-Monday late. I had already started moving clients for your installation and was lucky enough to restructure my trip this morning to suit those clients.
So I will be gone now Thursday morning through Tuesday (the 4th) in the morning.
I would like Deborah to work this job with me if that is ok with you as I’d like her to see the full results. I will heed your advice and be more mindful of our language and choice of words when working with a delicate situation as yours is right now.
Let’s have you re-evaluate the situation and know that I will be doing everything I can for you and your family as clients. As soon as you feel comfortable to reschedule, please offer us WHAT YOU THINK are the best few hours for me to be on property and I will work with you on that considering the weather and all soon after the 4th of July.
