Coloradans are fighting back against fracking by passing local bans and
moratoriums on this toxic practice.
But, speaking in front of a
crowd of oil and gas executives at an industry
conference, Governor
Hickenlooper recently made it clear that he’ll
support industry lawsuits
against local governments that pass fracking
bans, so all of our hard work
is in jeopardy.
That’s why we’re taking the fight to the legislature in
2013. Protect Our
Colorado, a newly formed coalition of anti-fracking
organizations,
including CREDO, is kicking off a bold campaign calling on
the legislature
to pass a moratorium on fracking and stop this industry in
its
tracks.
