New Moon Fire Ceremony SPIRIT EARTH MEDICINE WHEEL: Tuesday, December 3, 2013, 6:30 PM in Lafayette.
We will drum and move around to loosen ourselves up…Then Karen will lead you in a personal journey to discover from your Teacher or Power Animal, what you need to release to the FIRE in order to work on your NEW MOON WISH LIST. Then, everyone will take turns ceremonially throwing their list to the fire. When this is finished, Karen will tell you the sign the NEW MOON is in and suggest different subjects to write down your list with intention. You need to bring a notebook, pen, rattle or drum.
We will be indoors, probably, but depending on the weather. $20, snacks and beverages provided, including filtered water. No previous experience required. Confirm either at the Meeup group SPIRIT EARTH MEDICINE WHEEL or karen@karenriceking and we will make sure you get the address and directions.

The basis of this remarkable body of work comes from Sandra Ingerman, Education Director at Foundation of Shamanic Studies with Michael Harner. Karen King is one of Sandra’s recognized teachers of Shamanism, and has taught all types of classes since the mid-1970s. She is adapting this material for our modern lives, with particular attention for use with family and friends as well as professional applications. In the program, crafts will be included with special ceremonies and plenty of time working in the fabulous Nature of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
You must have previously taken the Spirit Journey workshop from Karen or Beginner’s Journeying from one of the teachers listed on ShamanicTeachers.com. You will need a drum or rattle, sacred objects from your life, notebook, pen, a blanket or pad to lie down on, pillow, eye cover, sunscreen, and any appropriate books from Sandra Ingerman. Wear comfortable clothing, layered for weather changes, and bring a coat.
